Shimano clipless shoes and pedals make bicycling easier! Like ski boots and bindings, the shoes click into the pedals so you can apply power throughout the whole pedal stroke, dramatically increasing your efficiency and control. Whether you're looking for your first clipless pedals or a top-end, race-ready upgrade, Shimano has what you need!

Road Shoes

Shimano's SH-R151 Shoes are sleek and fast. They boast super-light and rigid carbon soles for exceptional power transfer ideal for blazing acceleration and sustained efforts. Three strap closures ensure a snug, efficient fit and the nylon uppers sport mesh that lets in cool air to keep your feet dry and comfortable.

The SH-R098Ws are women's-specific road shoes perfect for fun rides, long miles and even racing. They feature snug heels and small toe boxes to better fit female feet as well as contour-molded inners for comfort. Triple hook-and-loop closures and stiff outer soles offer maximum pedaling efficiency. Plus, there are even walking tabs on the heels and toes for traction and protection.

Mountain-Bike Shoes

The awesome SH-M225s are Shimano's ultimate off-road competition shoes. They feature carbon-reinforced soles that transfer energy straight to the pedals. The buckle-strap and Velcro closures offer a custom fit. Plus, the shape-retention padding and molded heel supports ensure top comfort. And the aggressive treads and toe spikes grip great for steep run-ups and shed, rather than hold, mud.

The rugged SH-MT50s are ready for anything you can throw at them. Their dual-density midsoles and rubber soles are comfortable walking and hiking and deliver efficient power-transfer for cycling. Shimano's MPS Power Straps secure the laces and provide excellent support. And, the casual styling means you'll look great after the ride, too.

Understanding Cleat Compatibility

To mount your pedal cleats to your shoes (cleats are included with new pedals and sold separately), they must have matching bolt patterns (the holes in the shoes and cleats). There are three bolt-hole configurations (diagram) used on cycling shoes, SPD-R, Look/SPD-SL and SPD. Road shoes feature one, two or even all three of these. Off-road shoes usually use the SPD pattern. If you're unsure what pattern you have/need, please ask us. We're here to help!

Road Pedals

Shimano's Ultegra pedals afford all the luxuries you expect from competition road pedals without the heavy price. These lightweight wonders sport wide platforms that improve foot stability, power transfer and comfort. Their low profiles bring your feet closer to the pedal axles, too, so you maintain a lower center of gravity for better handling. And the near-vertical hanging position makes clipping in at stoplights and start lines super easy.

Shimano's 520 pedals are affordable and super easy to enter and exit. The large platforms offer support even when your cleats are not engaged, and also when you're riding in sneaks. These excellent touring and all-round pedals are compatible with walkable cycling shoes, which have recessed cleats, and feature tough chromoly axles and low-maintenance sealed bearings, too.

Mountain Pedals

Shimano's M959s boast a secure, open binding system and light weight that sets the standard for pro-level off-road pedals. Flourine-coated binding claws allow easy entry and release, while the open binding mechanisms shed mud like you'll shed the competition. Other great features include durable chromoly axles with low-maintenance sealed bearings.
